The client demanded a house "strong as old Japanese house, without fence, where warmth over flows to fine outside". At first, we set aside the fixed idea on privacy of the house and used the wooden frame structure and glass facade. Public space is placed on the first floor to be seen at a glance.

Various kinds of movable partitions walls of screens and lattice door with different transmittance with can be pulled in, enables to set various levels of privacy by occasion.
