The site is about 160m2 space, located north of Kitayama-dori Street.

It was difficult to get privacy by placing enough space for the front garden by the road, so we proposed a different form of living.

Private space is placed on the first floor and public space is placed on the second floor where sunshine is easily obtained.

Stair placed near the road connects directly to the second floor's deck as a shortcut circulation.

Deck is covered by roof, extending living room to semi-exterior space, which will be integrated when doors are fully opened. To protect a house from the natural disaster, first and second floor is made in concrete and roof is wooden frame structure. Concrete is a symbol of stable living and floating wooden loft provokes clients' non-daily life.
